About Voice for the Vulnerable
We believe that hope isn't found in the absence of pain, but in the presence of Jesus.

If you are living with a body that feels like a prison, a heart heavy with past grief, or a spirit that has grown weary of "looking on the bright side," you have found a safe place to land. At Voice for the Vulnerable, we don’t offer easy answers or polished clichés. We offer a hand to hold in the dark.

Our Mission: Jesus in the Pain
Founded by Alicia Reagan, this ministry exists to bridge the gap between deep suffering and the steady hope found in Christ. We advocate for the vulnerable—the ones the world often overlooks because their struggles don't have a quick fix.
Whether you are navigating chronic illness, the aftermath of divorce, the loss of a child, or the isolation of a broken home, our goal is to help you find the "nighness" of God.
"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
How We Serve
Our heart is to bring the Gospel to those who feel unseen, whether they are in our own neighborhood or across the ocean.
-
Local Ministry: Community & Connection Through our monthly gatherings—Mighty Moms, Single Ladies Tribe, and The Esther Society—we create safe, in-person spaces where women and girls are refreshed. Here, we share meals, prayers, and the reminder that our daily work and our unique stories are sacred and seen by God.
-
National Ministry: Biblical Guidance & Presence Pain is isolating, but you are not alone. Through the Beyond Brokenness Podcast and our Biblical Counseling ministry, we offer a steady presence. We lean on experiential and theological wisdom to provide hope for those who need a Big God to meet them in their darkest hours.
-
International Ministry: Hope for the Forgotten In partnership with our Gospel Voice in Nepal, we reach out to disabled individuals who are often the most overlooked. Through fellowships and practical support, we share the love of Jesus, reminding the world that every life matters and is "fearfully and wonderfully made."
You Are Not Alone
The world may tell you that your value is tied to your productivity or your health. We are here to tell you that your value is tied to the One who created you. Even if you are sitting in a wheelchair, lying in a hospital bed, or grieving in a quiet house—you are seen. You are loved.
At Voice for the Vulnerable, we aren't just talking about healing; we are talking about a Savior who is "acquainted with grief" and walks every step of the valley with us.
